Chris Restaurant was originally located north side, across from the Lorain Drive In, (5100 West Erie) in front of a trailer park. In in the 1970's serving the Lorain Ohio working class, especially Lorain Ford Assembly Plant workers, Lorain Hospital workers (Lorain Community Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital) , Lorain Shipbuilding workers, and more! Located on Route 6 (originally Rt 6&2), 1/4 mile west of Route 611 and Route 6.
The restaurant moved in the late 1970's to its current location (3812 West Erie) on Route 6 1/4 mile west of Route 58 (Levitt Road), after Howard Johnsons was closed down.

In the early 1970's Chris', his wife Delores, daughter Stepahnie helped work at the restaurant, including Karen and Helen in the kitchen. Some of the early help included Dottie, John, Gary, and Admiral King and Loran High School workers, and more!
The restaurant has always been Customer Friendly through the years, including Chris' walking out and shaking hands, greeting customers, and checking on the quality of the food and service! Chris' believes in old fashion customer caring, and happy, well fed clientele, with food priced right for any budget!
