The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New Orleans District is seeking sources for a project entitled West Shore Lake Pontchartrain (WSLP), Hurricane and Storm Damage Reduction Project located in St. John the Baptist, St. Charles, and St. James Parishes, Louisiana. This may be used to establish a pre-approved list of commercial borrow sources that could be included in a number of construction contracts associated with construction of the WSLP project. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to provide clay material that could be used for the construction for the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain Project. This is not a solicitation. Firms who respond to this announcement by submitting complete, accurate, and up-to-date information described in Appendix A would be reviewed for their capability of providing clay material for the WSLP Project.
